“Having worked with you and the LINSTAR staff for over five years, I found it necessary to just drop you a note of THANKS for your prompt service with our latest endeavor with your company. As you know, the Lake Placid is expanding its use of our LINSTAR ID system to include not just police officers identifications, but all of our village employees as well as our taxi cab operators in the village. Your staff, as usual, was courteous, prompt, and efficient in helping complete this task and we are very happy with the results.
Prior to issuing ID Badges, our officers would receive complaints about village employees at someone’s door, trying to read an electric meter, or fix a water line, or that a “stranger” or “suspicious person” was in their neighborhood. Now, with their new identification badges, the complaints have all but ended
The taxi cab ID’s are also successful. Each cab operator is required to carry this ID with him while he is working. It shows the public and any officer he may encounter, that he has gone through the extensive screening process, and is licensed to operate in our village.
We will be taking on another project soon, developing a children’s ID Card for the parents to have in case of an emergency. I look forward to working with your people on that project as well, as I know that LINSTAR has unique expertise with child ID cards, since you developed Operation Safe Child for New York State.
Secondly, I wanted to let you know how satisfied we are with our Suspect Interview room system. The officers find it so simple to use, all they do is push one button and the camera is recording. It couldn’t be simpler to operate, and the images and sound quality are excellent!
