Monroe County Special Operations Task Force

“I wanted to take this opportunity to say thanks to you and the entire staff at LINSTAR for their assistance to the Monroe County Fire Bureau with the development of additional credentialing and accountability databases for the Monroe County’s Special Operations Task Force.

When we discussed the purchase of the Emergency Event Manager Software ensemble nearly two years ago. our primary goal was to identify our personnel and to begin the credentialing process for Fire Bureau personnel HAZMAT Team members and County Fire Investigators. This portion of the project has been a huge success.

I’m happy to report that since the purchase, our database has expanded to credential and readily Identify members of our Special Operations Task Force. This specialized unit focuses on technical rescue efforts for the region including trench rescue, confined space rescue, structural collapse rescue, swift & ice water rescue, and rope rescue (both high and low angle) incidents. Because of the dangers associated with this type of work, proper credentialing and identification are a critical factor when operating in the field.

What compelled me to write you was our recent request for assistance. LINSTAR again stepped up to the plate to assist our personnel with needed database and system changes with their usual friendly, prompt and professional approach and actions.

It is a pleasure to work with the great group of LINSTAR professionals and leadership as our goal to provide the highest quality of fire protection, hazardous material mitigation and technical rescue to Monroe County citizens and the surrounding region continues.

Later this year, a large scale disaster drill will commence and it’s expected that on scene identification and credentialing will be part of this evolution, using LINSTAR’s EEMS System and components. We will be sending Invitations to you and your staff to come and observe the event!

Again, please thank everyone from LINSTAR who continues to serve Monroe County’s Fire Bureau.”
